You’ve planned financially for your retirement and now that it is here … the time has come to travel and pursue those hobbies you’ve always wanted to try.
That is, of course, unless you’ve somehow become a day care centre for your grand children. Are more and more retirees missing their window of opportunity to travel and pursue other areas of pleasure due to family commitments? Should retirement planning now include looking after grandchildren? Has this become the norm? Or should grandparents be more selfish with their retirement time?
